Frequently Asked Questions
How do you help OEMs achieve cost-effective aluminum extrusion?
We combine U.S.-based engineering oversight with extrusion facilities in Asia and Mexico, producing precision aluminum profiles at globally optimized costs.
What makes your aluminum extrusion approach stand out from other suppliers?
Amfas integrates design expertise, in-house die development, and U.S.-led quality control — ensuring consistent dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and tariff-safe sourcing.
How do you ensure consistency and quality in aluminum extruded parts?
Every extrusion batch undergoes dimensional, tensile, and surface integrity testing under our U.S.-supervised framework. Amfas engineers stationed on-site verify profile quality before shipment to OEMs.
Can you support design optimization before die production begins?
Yes — our engineers work closely in the DFM stage to refine wall thickness, cross-section design, and tolerances, enhancing material flow and minimizing tooling revisions.
How do you reduce lead times for aluminum extrusion projects?
By leveraging regional extrusion hubs, in-house die manufacturing, and local stocking programs, we reduce setup time and ensure faster delivery for OEMs.
What alloys and finishes do you typically handle?
We work with 6000-series alloys like 6061, 6063, and 6082, offering finishes such as anodizing, powder coating, polishing, and CNC machining. Amfas has also developed custom alloys for high-performance and corrosion-resistant applications.
How do you help OEMs manage tariffs and supply chain risks?
Through a balanced regional sourcing strategy between Mexico and Asia, we maintain tariff-safe supply chains, predictable costs, and production continuity.
Do you provide end-to-end project management for aluminum extrusion programs?
Yes — from die design and extrusion to finishing, fabrication, and packaging, Amfas manages the entire lifecycle under one engineering-led quality program with continuous audits.
How flexible are you in handling changes in production volume?
Our scalable extrusion network allows fast adjustments to OEM demand, supporting prototype runs to full-scale production without affecting timelines.
Why do leading OEMs choose to partner with you for aluminum extrusion?
Because Amfas delivers precision-engineered extrusion solutions that combine design flexibility, cost efficiency, and U.S.-led quality assurance.
