Steve Walker
Owner & Managing Director
Prior to founding AMFAS in 2002, Mr. Walker served as Business Unit Director for ABB Thomas & Betts where he was the head of Operations, Engineering and Marketing for the $300 million electrical fittings group. Before T & B, he held positions in Executive Management at Stanley Bostitch in East Greenwich Rl and ITT Cannon in Santa Ana CA. Walker has experience and expertise in Global Supply Chains, Product Development, Quality Engineering. He earned his MBA from the Claremont Graduate University - Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito School of Management and his BA in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound.
Angel Escamilla
President & General Manager
Angel has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics | manufacturing industry. Before joining Amfas, he led the | manufacturing engineering and quality teams at Dialight Corporation | as Director of Manufacturing and Quality, where he was responsible for their manufacturing sites in Asia and America. He is a technical | leader specializing in process development and design for | manufacturability improvements, he has developed and | implemented testing, product traceability, and BOM management systems as well as streamline designs. He earned a BS in | Electronics Engineering from CETYS University and a Master of Engineering Management from Penn State University.
Maribel Ibarra
Senior Accountant
With 15 years of experience in finance, Maribel has a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and compliance. She's known for her precision, attention to detail, and analytical skills, which she brings to financial planning and handling reporting and budgeting. Before joining us at Amfas, Maribel worked at Telnor in Mexico. She holds an Accounting Degree from CETYS University in Tijuana
Carlos Liu
Senior Director of Operations
Liu oversees customer relations, supply chain/inventory management, and logistics. Prior to joining AMFAS in 2010, he served as a production planner and purchasing agent in China for Stamford CT based Conair Corp. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. Carlos holds Bachelor of Science degrees from Zhengzhou University in Aerospace and Industrial Engineering.
Benjamin Corral
Director of Quality
Benjamin Corral is a seasoned Quality Management professional with over 23 years of experience across aerospace, defense, automotive, and other industries. He holds a Master's Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Quality & Productivity and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, along with certifications as an AS9100/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
Throughout his career, Benjamin has held engineering and leadership roles in process, manufacturing, and quality, supporting operations in both domestic and international facilities, including work with a Fortune 250 company. He has successfully led cross-functional teams, implemented Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and driven compliance with global standards such as AS9100, Nadcap, ASME, and PED. His expertise includes new product introduction, process validation, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on supporting aerospace programs and implementing zero-defect strategies.
Marcus Sims
Director of Sales and Marketing
Prior to joining Amfas, Mr. Sims served as Sr. Director of Product Management for Titan Manufacturing, a metal product focused E-Commerce retailer. He managed the entirety of the product life cycle for the $100M+ portfolio, from product idea generation to market launch. Before Titan, Mr. Sims held leadership roles in the energy and fabrication industry, supplying fabricated and machined components to OEMs. Mr. Sims has extensive experience in Product Development, Global Supply Chains, Quality Control, and Engineering. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Christian Brothers University of Memphis TN.
